About Forever Within Us

Never Forget Me was created in memory of our son Calvin James Wartnick, who suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on September 03, 2023. We wanted a place where other parents who have lost a child could keep their children's memories alive, while offering a supportive community of those who truly understand.

After spending several years talking to people about loss, children or otherwise, I realized that many are looking for the same thing as I am. I then created Forever Within Us as an extension - to offer the same forever home to anyone who has lost that special someone - a child, parent, paretner/spouse, or sibling.

What About Never Forget Me?

Never Forget Me is the company that owns both www.ForeverWithinUs.org (Forever Within Us) and www.NeverForgetMe.org. www.NeverForgetMe.org is restricted to child loss only, and don't worry, it isn't going anywhere. In fact, for children who have passed away, both sites share the same data. I created Never Forget Me @ www.NeverForgetMe.org to honor my son Calvin, who passed away in 2023. I know how I feel, and I knew other parents felt the same way. That site holds a special place in my heart. Never Forget Me, for parents who have lost a child, will have more services offered that cater to that type of loss. Some of those services, even though the same data is shared, won't be available on Forever Within Us. However, as I have mentioned, others have lost someone, but not a child, who also want a forever home for their loved one. Never Forget Me @ www.NeverForgetMe.org does not accommodate those losses.

ForeverWithinUs.org and NeverForgetMe.org share the same data. That being said, NeverForgetMe.org filters out everything that isn't related to child loss. You can create a child tribute on either website, and it will be available on both.

Who is Forever Within Us for?

Forever Within Us is for parents, families, friends, and anyone who wants to honor and remember a loved one who has passed. Whether the loss was recent or many years ago, every person deserves to be remembered, and every family deserves a place where their loved one's life and memories can continue to be shared.

You do not need to be related to the loved one to visit, leave a message, sign a guestbook, or share in their remembrance. Forever Within Us is free and open to anyone who wishes to remember and honor somebody's loved one.

Does it cost anything?

No. Forever Within Us is completely free. There is no cost to create a tribute, add photos, memories, or other available content, or for family and friends to visit, sign the guestbook, and leave messages.

There are no subscription fees or charges to keep a tribute online. Our goal is to provide families with a lasting place to honor and remember their loved one, regardless of their ability to pay.

Their memory should never come with a price.

Creating & Managing a Tribute

How can I add my loved one to Forever Within Us?

There are two ways to create a tribute for your loved one, and both are completely free.

Create & manage the tribute yourself: Register for a free Forever Within Us account and create your loved one's tribute yourself. You'll be able to add their story, photos, memories, and other available content, and make changes whenever you'd like.

Let Us Help: If you're not comfortable with technology, don't have the time, or would simply prefer some help, we're happy to create the tribute for you. Just send us your loved one's information, photos, and memories, and we'll take care of the rest.

You can also do a little of both. Your loved one's tribute can be a cooperative effort, and we're always happy to help with additions, changes, or photos along the way.

Can I make changes to my loved one's tribute after it's created?

Yes. Your loved one's tribute can be updated at any time. You can change or add information such as birth and passing dates and times, their story and description, photos, music, videos, and other tribute content.

If you created the tribute through your registered account, you can make these changes yourself. If we created the tribute for you—or if you simply need help making a change—just contact us, and we'll be happy to assist.

Your loved one's tribute can continue to grow and change as new memories, photos, and stories are shared.

Who can view my loved one's tribute?

Everyone. Forever Within Us tributes are public and can be viewed by anyone. A tribute is intended to provide a lasting place where family, friends, and others can visit, learn about your loved one, share memories, sign the guestbook, and help keep their memory alive.

No registration or account is required to view a tribute.

Using Forever Within Us

How do I sign a tribute's guestbook and leave a message?

First, find the person you would like to visit on the Tributes page and select their photo to open their dedicated tribute page.

From there, choose:

Guestbook — to sign your name and let the family know you visited and remembered their loved one.

Messages — to leave a personal message, memory, or words of support for the loved one and their family.

No registration is required to visit a tribute, sign the guestbook, or leave a message.

How do I contact Forever Within Us?

We're always happy to hear from you. Whether you have a question, need help with a tribute, would like something changed, or simply want to reach out, please visit our Contact Us page.

We do our best to respond to every message as soon as possible.

How is my information used and protected?

Never Forget Me collects only the information needed to provide and support our services. We do not sell your personal information or share it with others for marketing purposes.

Information submitted for a child's tribute is used to create and maintain that tribute. Because tribute pages are public, information you choose to include on the tribute—such as your child's name, dates, story, photos, and other memories—can be viewed by visitors to Never Forget Me.

When signing a guestbook or leaving a message, some identifying information may be requested, but certain information is optional. Information you choose to include in a public guestbook entry or message may be displayed as part of that submission.

Account and contact information is used only as needed to manage your account, communicate with you, provide assistance, and operate Never Forget Me.

Do I need an account?

No. You do not need an account to visit Never Forget Me, explore tributes, sign a guestbook, or leave a message.

Registration is intended primarily for family who have, or plan to create, a tribute for their loved one. A free account provides access to additional features, including:

The ability to create and manage your child's tribute
Letters to My Loved One, your private online diary
Discounts in the Never Forget Me store
A free remembrance package with items created specifically for your loved one's tribute
Additional registered-member features as they become available

To help protect Forever Within Us from automated registrations, bots, and unnecessary inactive accounts, a registered account must have a loved one's tribute associated with it within 30 days of registration. Accounts without an associated tribute after 30 days may be removed.

Tributes

As a registered family member, you have the option to create and manage your loved one's tribute yourself. You can update their information, story, photos, media, and other tribute content whenever you'd like. Managing the tribute yourself is completely optional. If you'd rather have us make changes for you—or you'd like to work on the tribute together—we're happy to do that as well.

Letters To My Loved One

What is it, and how do I use it?

Letters to My Loved One is your private online diary—a personal place to write thoughts, memories, feelings, or letters to your loved one whenever you wish.

Visitor Messages & Guestbook Signatures

Visibility and Submission Management

Visitors to your loved one's tribute can sign the Guestbook and leave Messages of remembrance, support, and love.

To help keep every tribute respectful and safe, all new guestbook signatures and messages are held for approval before they appear publicly. A submission can be approved by either the family member managing the tribute or by Never Forget Me.

Never Forget Me also monitors visitor submissions across all tributes. Family members are welcome to review and manage submissions for their own tribute, but you are not expected to handle this responsibility alone.
